2016 Honda Accord Coupe L4-2.4L (K24W1) Lubricants, Fluids - General Information
Always use manufacturer recommended fluids and lubricants for your Honda vehicle. By using the proper fluids and lubricants in your Honda, you will prevent warranty loss, extend vehicle life, protect your engine and parts, and also have a better driving experience overall.

Honda DOT 3 Brake Fluid:
Always use Honda DOT 3 Brake Fluid. Using a non-Honda brake fluid can cause corrosion and decrease the life of the system. |

Cooling system
|
Always use Honda Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2.
NOTE: For prolonged cold temperatures below -22 °F (-30 °C), add Honda Extreme Cold Weather Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2 (concentrate). |
